Osela name derives from the word OSEL, meaning light in Tibetan. The company has a strong focus in laser illumination systems for applications in machine vision, biosciences, industrial inspection and instrumentation. Our highly skilled team, with many years of industry experience, has the photonics expertise needed to assist our customers in the development of optically intensive applications.
Our founding members bring 25+ years of experience in the photonics Industry which has allowed us to grow rapidly where we are now world leaders in the space of laser illumination. Our emphasis on being a committed partner to our customers allow us to create long-term relationships and create an environment of mutual success. With over 20% of our team in Research and Development our focus is to provide unique reliable solutions to our customer illumination needs.

Our manufacturing capability extends beyond standard products. Our processes allow the development, release, and manufacturing of custom products with varying volumes, in a limited timeframe. Customer-specific requirements are reviewed by our sales representatives and converted into a manufacturable product plan within days.
Custom Manufacturing
Each product; laser or optical component is individually manufactured and hand-crafted to ensure optimal electrical, mechanical and optical performance. Our technicians have years of experience working on the specific parameters that permit such optimization.
Quality Control
Quality control plays a crucial role in our success. Each laser is inspected individually at numerous gates in the manufacturing process. Performance and final quality control records are archived and reviewed for the final release of products to our customers.
